The Academy of Experts runs practical, in-person Expert Witness training in Hong Kong for professionals who act, or wish to act, as Expert Witnesses.
Our Hong Kong courses are designed for Experts working across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and other jurisdictions in Asia and Oceania. They are suitable both for those looking to establish the right standard from the outset and for experienced Experts who want to refresh their skills.
The courses take place at the Hong Kong Football Club, Happy Valley, and run from 09:30 to 17:00 unless otherwise stated.
Practical training for Expert Witnesses
Expert evidence is often central to the outcome of a dispute. A technically strong opinion can still be weakened by unclear instructions, a poorly structured report, a misunderstanding of the Expert’s duties, or a lack of confidence under cross-examination.
TAE’s Hong Kong training is designed to help Experts understand their role, comply with their duties, produce better reports and give clearer, more effective evidence.
The courses are interactive and practical, drawing on real issues faced by Experts in litigation, arbitration and other dispute processes.
Tutors with practical Hong Kong experience
The courses are delivered by tutors who are either practising Experts or lawyers, with the majority actively working in Hong Kong.
This means the training is grounded not only in Expert Witness principles, but also in the practical realities of disputes in Hong Kong and the wider region. Participants benefit from tutors who understand how Expert evidence is used in practice, including in litigation, arbitration and other dispute processes.
