Ready to swap your expert hat for a golf cap?
The Academy of Experts is teeing up an inaugural golf day on 10th May at the prestigious Porters Park Golf Club in Radlett, and you’re invited!
It promises to be a fun day and a great opportunity to network with fellow members and entertain clients.
- Come on your own or bring up to three guests.
- Buggies are available by prior arrangement – please contact the office to reserve.
Here’s the line-up:
- 10:00 AM: Begin with bacon rolls and coffee. Warm up optional!
- 11:00 AM: Tee times start
- Lunch: Cap off the day with a 2-course meal that’s definitely above par. It’s a chance to refuel, recount the day’s heroic tales, and find out who will take home the inaugural TAE golf day trophy.
Join us for a day where the stakes are low but the spirits are high. See you there, where the only thing serious is the fun!
Please note that to attend this day you must have prior golf experience. Dress code applies.
Many of the great names of golf have played matches or exhibitions at Porters Park, including Harry Vardon, James Braid, John Henry ‘JH’ Taylor, Abe Mitchell, Henry Cotton, Ted Ray, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Peter Thomson, Neil Coles, Ken Brown, Nick Faldo and Lee Westwood.
Famous past members include Samuel Ryder, creator of the Ryder Cup, and two past Walker Cup players, Brian Chapman, and Peter Townsend, with Peter having played in both the Walker Cup and Ryder Cup teams as well as assuming the mantle of Captain of the PGA. Visitors have included a number of sports, film, and show business personalities including Sean Connery, Henry Cooper, Des Lynam, and Gary Lineker.
