Stephen Walker
Stephen Walker is a full-time civil and commercial mediator. He has conducted over 950 mediations including more than 300 online. He is in Tier 1 in both Chambers and the Legal 500.
He is accredited by the Civil Mediation Council in the UK and by INADR in the US and is also on the panel of international mediators of the International Mediation Institute.
Stephen undertook specialised training in online mediations in 2015 with Giuseppe Leone in Honolulu and Tom Valenti in Chicago. Currently just over 50% of his mediations are conducted online.
For nine years until 2022 he lectured in mediation at Kings College London on the Masters Degree course in Construction Law and dispute resolution. He has published seven books on Mediation including his latest book on Digital Mediation (Bloomsbury January 2024.)
All of them are practical, experience- based books designed to help all users of mediation whether mediators, representatives/advocates or clients to get the best of the mediation process.
