Event Type

The courtroom can be a challenging and intimidating environment, especially if you’re called to give evidence in the Witness Box. But with our comprehensive course, you can gain the knowledge and experience you need to feel confident and in control in any courtroom setting.

Our course is designed to give you a deep understanding of the ins and outs of being in court, including how and when to prepare, giving evidence, roles and duties, conflicts, and making the best of any situation. We’ll also cover lawyers’ techniques and how to handle them, how to introduce yourself and your expertise, and most importantly, how to survive cross-examination.

In our practical sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to be cross-examined by a practicing Barrister in a safe, supportive environment. You’ll receive feedback and have a chance to correct any mistakes and improve your technique before you step into the Witness Box.

Our course is suitable for both beginners and experienced experts looking to refresh their skills. Many of our participants attend the course more than once, using it as a refresher and preparation before appearing ‘in the box.’

Join us today and unlock the secrets of success and survival in court.

Participants attending will be asked to supply a copy of a short report (from a case which is no longer live) or case study which they have written. This need not be an actual report but can be prepared for the course – it should contain enough detail for cross-examination.
