I have extensive experience (100+ instructions/ year) in preparing medical reports for solicitors, insurance companies and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority in the following types of cases.
Civil cases arising from assault and personal injury (including road traffic accidents and occupational injuries).
Criminal cases arising from assault and wounding (including acting as expert witness to the Crown Prosecution Service).
Medical negligence (I have worked for both the plaintiff and the defence and for a UK medical defence organisation).
I have experience of giving evidence in court as an expert witness in criminal and civil cases.
My specialist areas of medico legal work include:
