[Brief_CV] => Tommy is a civil engineer with over 25 years’ experience on engineering and construction projects across South Africa, UK the Middle East and Australia in the resources, rail, energy and construction sectors. He started construction working for main contractors, has implemented national planning improvement programmes for two of the UK’s largest engineering firms and worked in lead planning roles on multi $bn projects with EPC firms Bechtel and Parsons Brinckerhoff.
He has served as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, and Directors at Hill International/HKA and Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond. He has been responsible for commercial, planning, risk and project management functions and is experienced in all phases of the project life cycle from feasibility studies through to commissioning.
He is an international expert in project planning, programming, and the analysis of delay, acceleration and disruption, has undertaken numerous expert appointments, been instructed as expert determiner, testified eight times in delay, twice in quantum, and been ‘hot tubbed’. His experience in all aspects of the project life cycle provides him with a thorough understanding of the true cause and effect of project related issues.
