Extensive experience in trauma management and joint replacement (150-200 a year, hips & knees). 
Special skills in arthroscopic surgery.

Medico-Legal Work
I am heavily involved in medico-legal reporting (medical negligence/personal injuries). 
Starting from 2001 I have prepared 150 to 2-reports on an annual basis for agencies and solicitors with a mixture of defendants 10%, claimants 50% and as a joint expert 40%. 
Waiting times for medical reports is 2 to 3 weeks and an average report costs £300. I expect to be paid within 3 to 6 months of preparing the report. 

Research and Publications
My research and publications are focused on joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and trauma management, including complex fractures and multiple injuries. 

Managerial Duties in the Trust
I am on the blood transfusion committee in the Trust. 
I am a nominated appraiser in the unit.

Teaching
Clinical Collage Tutor - My duties are to ensure satisfactory post graduate training in the unit. 
I am involved in undergraduate teaching and training as well as other health professionals.
