[Brief_CV] => Stuart has over 30 years’ experience in construction and has been involved with ADR and particularly arbitrations on time related matters for 21 years. Stuart specialises in forensic delay, disruption and concurrency analysis and has provided hundreds of independent reports for both employers, contractors, engineers and government entities.
He is qualified in design, project management and contract administration, affording him an in depth understanding of the complex and interconnected elements of the project delivery process and he is highly experienced in a range of different sectors such as power, infrastructure, building, energy, oil & gas, process & industrial, marine and mining.
He is regularly called into major projects to resolve time related matters during the course of the works and frequently assists in providing recovery strategies (mitigation and/ or acceleration) to help bring delayed projects back on track.
Stuarts practical involvement on projects has afforded him an excellent technical understanding of a very broad range of different project types including nuclear, coal fired and hydroelectric power stations, oil refineries, petrochemical, desalination and recycling plants, large span bridge constructions, port developments, roads and railways as well as a broad range of building construction projects including airports, hotels, libraries, apartments, car parks, healthcare facilities, and data centres.

His opinions on matters of delay and disruption are always grounded in fact and based on the technical details of the project.
Stuart is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Member of the Academy of Experts being certified as a Forensic Delay Analyst. He has been appointed as independent expert witness on many occasions by contractors and subcontractors, owners/employers and engineers and has presented both written and oral expert testimony (including hot tubbing) at various international arbitrations such as DIAC, ICC, ACCD, ACA.
