[Brief_CV] => Seth Handley is a Registered and Chartered architect and principal of RIBA Chartered Practice AEW. In addition to working full time as an architect Seth has been nominated by the RIBA to decide adjudications and carries out Expert Witness investigations, report writing.
Seth has provided expert reports since the late 1980s. Seth has prepared expert reports assisting the TCC, County Court, architects registration board, and arbitrators. Seth has taken instructions to prepare reports for Councils, companies and private individuals, he has also prepared reports for litigants in person. Seth has also been a jointly instructed expert with approval of the County Court. Seth has investigated, prepared reports concerning residential, office, hotel, health-care and retail projects. Seth\'s investigations encompass the total scope of an architect\'s work from inception, planning applications to final snagging and post completion defects. Seth\'s reports have been prepared at all stages of the dispute resolution process for claimants and defendants, before litigation, after the issue of claim, pre arbitration. His reports have also been used by the architect\'s registration board in their investigations. Seth has appeared as an expert, been cross examined in the High Court, County Court and architect registration board hearings.
Seth has over 30 years experience working in architecture.
Seth has recently attended the Academy of Expert\'s full day course, Advanced Report Writing and the full day\'s course Into Court where he was trained on how to best present his opinion when being cross examined in an adversarial manner.
