Over 50 years' experience in the UK and Overseas, principally in maritime works, breakwaters, coastal, harbours, ports; planning, engineering design and construction. 1986 - 1989Â Â Â Eurotunnel's Chief Engineer (Marine).
1989 - 2002   Chief Engineer/Director for harbour, coastal and river engineering projects, including risk assessment. Advisor, Oresund Link              Continued to act as an Expert, Mediator and Adjudicator.
2002Â Â Â Started my own Company. Consultant to a variety of Clients, advisor to projects in UK and Overseas and for disputes. Mediator with a number of Groups.

Over 40 years experience in civil engineering, worldwide. Roger has lived and worked in many areas of the UK as well as in over 20 overseas countries, which has given him an understanding of many different cultures.
As a great believer that Mediation provides a neutral, non-threatening environment for airing and settling virtually any type of dispute without the expense and stress of going to Court, Roger's experience has covered a very wide range of different types, areas and complexities of dispute.
MEDIATION TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Trained Mediator with the Academy of Experts; accredited in 1995.
Trained Mediator, Adjudicator and Conciliator with the Institution of Civil Engineers; accredited in 1998.
Trained Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR); accredited in 2001.
Member, Disputes Resolution Board Foundation from 2003 to 2006.
Mediator Panel member of Consensus Mediation from 2000.
Mediator Panel member of Oxford Mediation and Middlesex and Thames Valley Mediators, 2006.
MEDIATION EXPERIENCE
Recent mediation experience covers a wide range of disputes and claim values, including a varying number of Parties involved, from £2,000 to £4Million and US$12 Million. For example:
Repairs and maintenance to shops.
International disputes over the value of a Contract and its termination.
Family dispute over the value of a will, involving an insurance company.
Settlement of a dispute between an internee and prison authorities over an alleged assault.
