Peter Oxendale studied at The Royal Academy of Music and Kings College, London, gaining a Bachelor of Music degree (B. Mus.) and becoming a Graduate of The Royal Schools of Music (G.R.S.M.), a Licentiate of The Royal Academy of Music (L.R.A.M.) and an Associate of The Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.). He has acted as a consultant musicologist and expert witness in copyright matters for more than 35 years and has written numerous reports for use in copyright and related claims. He has acted for most of the major record companies, music publishers and leading music business solicitors as well as many of the major advertising agencies in the UK. His client list extends to the UK, Europe, South Africa, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. He currently takes around 400 instructions a year from clients worldwide.
