[Brief_CV] => Paul is a Partner in MDD\'s London office. He qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in England in 2004 and has over 20 years of forensic accounting experience dealing with a wide range of disputes. Paul is also an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst.
Paul\'s focus is in the area of economic damage quantification or \"EDQ\". EDQ includes includes complex financial loss measurement which may stem from financial loss as a result of business interruption (loss of profit / increased cost of working) or some form of contractual / other dispute. His valuation practice has been invaluable in several arbitrated matters, and is important when dealing with certain shareholder / matrimonial dispute matters.
Paul has considerable experience and expertise in certain industries including retail, hotels / hospitality, construction, automotive, manufacturing, pulp and paper, heavy industry and certain chemical / biofuel manufacturing. Assignment values have varied from a few hundred thousand pounds to losses in excess of £200 million.
As a member of The Academy of Experts and Expert Witness Institute, Paul is familiar with the unique demands of the litigation process and has prepared multiple written expert reports. Paul regularly supports clients in both insurance-related and commercial litigation, and has provided valuable assistance at many mediations. He has also given oral testimony on several occasions including the Royal Courts of Justice and at international arbitration (LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICC).
