    [Brief_CV] => I am General Practitioner working in Hertfordshire, and was a partner in a six doctor teaching practice for 30 years. I was a GP Trainer for ten years, and then was Tutor to Watford Postgraduate Centre for four years, and then for four years a Senior Clinical Fellow at the Postgraduate Medical School, University of Hertfordshire. I now remain in clinical practice as a Portfolio GP.

I undertake both claimant and defendant work and am a Fellow of the Academy of Experts and of the Expert Witness Institute. I have have acted as an external assessor to the Ombudsman for general practice complaints, as well as being instructed as an expert by several of Her Majesty's Coroners, Police Authorities and by the General Medical Council. I have received training as a single joint expert. I have given evidence in Court on a number of occasions.

I am the author of the General Practice volume in the Medicine for Lawyers series published by Cavendish Press (1996) and contributor of chapters on Risk Management and the Duties and Responsibilities of Medical Experts in Clinical Negligence for General Practitionerspublished by Radcliffe Publications (2000).
