[Expert_Experience1] => I have spent all of my professional life looking after Trustees and Sponsors of UK-based defined benefit pension schemes. I have been responsible for valuing pension scheme liabilities, pension scheme accounting, scheme changes and corporate actions, including insurance company buy-outs. I also worked with insolvent pension schemes during my employment with the Pension Protection Fund.
I became a Scheme Actuary, with responsibility for signing official scheme valuations in 2008. I gave up my Scheme Actuary certificate in 2013 when I changed position.
Since 2018, I have been responsible for signing over 200 pension sharing on divorce reports. I have been involved in the preparation of many further reports.
