Neil has been a qualified Chartered Accountant working in general practice since 1980. He became a partner in Rushtons in 1982 and has been the Senior Partner since 2002.
Neil first undertook forensic accountancy work in around 1984. He takes instructions from firms of solicitors and insurers, on behalf of claimants, defendants and in the role of Single Joint Expert.
Neil has vast experience in preparing company and share valuation reports, usually as a Single Joint Expert. He has also prepared loss of earnings calculations for personal injury claims, usually as a result of road traffic accidents. He also has experience of partnership disputes, professional negligence claims and loss of profit calculations.
His day to day experience in general practice, advising clients on various accounting and tax issues, has stood him in good stead when examining some of the most diverse cases that he has been instructed on.
