I received my early professional training with the Ordnance Survey. Initially I worked as a Cartographic Draughtsman, compiling permanent master traces for land registration documents. After Ordnance Survey training I worked as a Cartographic Surveyor based in the Ordnance Survey Nottingham field office updating 1/1250 and 1/2500 plans, using both land survey techniques and aerial photography.
I graduated from Nottingham Trent University as a Bachelor of Engineering after studying an Honours programme in Engineering Surveying. My degree was a classified as second class honours first division (2:1)
I am member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (InstCES)
I am Member of The Academy of Experts
