    [Brief_CV] => Julian is an  expert witness in Security, with experience in international arbitration at the World Bank\'s ICSID Tribunal and in civil disputes in the High Court of Justice, ChD.

After leaving the British Army in 2005 he managed security and community affairs for a mining development project in Yemen, and subsequently advised on security management for various exploration and production projects in the Middle East, Pakistan and Africa. After becoming the Head of Consulting for a global intelligence and risk management advisory company, his focus shifted to risk governance and advising boards and C-level management on complex risk strategies.

He is the founder of Cygnus Resilience, which is a consultancy specializing in organizational resilience and risk, with a focus on security issues stemming from geopolitical instability, conflict, collusion with bad actors, and loss of social acceptance.

He is a former Major in the British Army’s Parachute Regiment and was a helicopter pilot in the Army Air Corps. He has operational experience in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Iraq.
