[Key_Words] => 'white collar fraud';
[Brief_CV] => I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Having qualified in December 1983, I spent twelve years with KPMG in a variety of disciplines including Insolvency, Taxation and a main line Audit Department.
This experience provided an excellent groundwork for development of Forensic Accountancy skills, as I was involved in a number of investigations and benefited from extensive training in this area and importantly Report Writing.
I joined Kay Johnson Gee, a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in January 1993 as a Partner.
I have assisted in a large number of criminal defence cases over the last 14 years. Primarily but not exclusively white collar fraud and drug related cases. In addition may reports have been prepared in connection with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
In addition to criminal defence work I have acted on a wide range of accountancy related matters including partnership disputes, share valuations and loss of profit calculations.
The size of case varying from one week to four month trials.
In addition to giving evidence I have provided support to the legal teams acting for the defendants, both on CPS or serious fraud office cases, working with both Manchester and London based legal practises.
