[Brief_CV] => My work is wide ranging across the field of architecture although focused on residential work.
Spanning a career of 40 years in private practice I have been responsible for the design and construction of many building types ranging in contract size from £40,000,000 to £50,000.
I have acted as an expert in many professional and construction related disputes and am experienced in all aspects of expert work including report writing, meetings of experts, adjudications and appearance in court.
I have designed new buildings and refurbishments and extensions of important listed buildings in central London and southern England as well as work to historic landscapes and gardens at major rural estates in Cornwall and Kent. I have been responsible for new build and refurbishment work in Belgium, France, Spain the US and Canada.

Expert Reports and advice
Very many expert reports on "rights of light" and on "sunlight and daylight". For major developers. Designs reported on include City of London sites, large DocklandsÚ sites and others.
Expert reports for use in litigation on building, building design and professional appointment matters.
Negotiating and agreeing many (about 350) Town Planning and Listed Building Consents including written representation appeals against refusals. Especially in the high quality London residential market.
Negotiating and agreeing numerous (about 500 to date) party wall awards under both the 1939 Act and the 1996 Act. Acting variously for building owners and adjoining owners.
Established professional servicesÚ side of Barrett Lloyd Davis Associates to handle non-architectural aspects of construction, design, town planning (especially listed building work) and expert evidence and report writing.
Managing the work flow and programming of our 38 strong architectsÚ practice as well as day to day running of major architectural commissions.
