I was also a previous board member for the Institute of Trichologists.
I joined the Academy of Experts in 2011 and regularly attend CPD classes since then including the Report Writing Masterclass in 2016. I have been acting as Expert Witness since 2010 in cases involving damage to the hair and scalp due to hairdressing accidents or through PI matters.

Iain Sallis MIT is a Consultant Trichologist with eleven clinics spanning the UK. As one of only a handful of qualified Úhair doctorsÚ, Iain is also the only hospital based Consultant Trichologiest in the UK, holding consultancy posts in the ÚBMI hospitalÚ group and the ÚNuffield HospitalÚ group. The use of a Trichologist for medico-legal work is increasing, mainly due to the increase of cases that involve the need for an expert witness in civil, criminal and negligence cases.
