I founded my appraisal practice ‘Heather Callaway Ltd’ after 18 years of valuing at reputable companies in the UK. I’m based in Staffordshire preparing valuations which are totally independent. These are carried out for all types of jewellery items to include watches, gemstones and diamonds from modest collections to high-end collector's items. I render documentation for any purpose including Valuation for Insurance, Post Loss Assessment, Probate or Confirmation of Will in Scotland, Division of Assets and Sale by Private Treaty. My valuation services are not limited to Staffordshire they also extend to various prestigious jewellery establishments and auction houses nationwide, to include the illustrious ‘House of Garrard’ in London. This is the longest serving jewellery house in the world. Also, an Associate Member of the Academy of Experts, preparing expert witness reports for the court and successfully aiding civil and criminal legal cases. I study the latest gemstone treatments publications and regularly attends conferences and seminars within the trade to keep my knowledge current. Also, a member of The Society of Jewellery Historians and National Association of Jewellers.
