In the tribunal case I was asked to look at the processes involved in the storage of precious metals in China.

    [Brief_CV2] => Gwynne Richards is a highly experienced supply chain and logistics consultant and trainer.
This includes working for both the private and public sector. He started his own consultancy and training company in 2003.
Clients include Bridgestone Tyres and Pirelli Tyres, United Utilities, Gefco, Unilever and BAe Systems. Work includes strategy reviews, benchmarking and advising on outsourcing.
Gwynne produces and runs supply chain and warehouse management courses on behalf of The University of Warwick, UWE, the MOD resettlement programme and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Prior to becoming a consultant Gwynne worked for over 25 years as a Warehouse and Transport Manager, a Customer Services Manager and Group Development Manager for a number of large third party logistics companies including Exel Logistics, Lane Group, Nedlloyd and DHL.
He has a comprehensive knowledge of warehousing and transport and has recently been commissioned to write a book on the subject.
    
Recent projects have included assisting a major plastics manufacturer with its outsourcing strategy and managing the whole invitation to tender process.
He has recently worked with two major European suppliers with a view to combining their warehousing and distribution operations in the UK to reduce overall costs and their carbon footprint.
He is currently undertaking a benchmarking programme for an office products manufacturer and has recently completed a procurement and warehouse audit and re-design project for a large buyer of uniforms.
He was recently accepted as a Practicing Associate for The Academy of Experts.
Gwynne produces and runs supply chain courses and warehouse management courses on behalf of The University of Warwick, the MOD resettlement programme and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. A supply chain course produced for BAe Systems has recently been awarded the ChairmanÚs bronze award in the Transfer of Best Practice category for exceeding initial expectations.
The Warehouse Management courses he has produced have been very successful and have been extended to include in-house applications and include trainer/translator courses which have been run in Russia and Malaysia.
He recently ran an internal customer relationship course for Royal Mail engineers on behalf of Aston University
He is an Associate of the University of the West of England
    
He is Chairman of Judges for the Supply Chain Innovation award for the CILT and Chairman of the Outsourcing and Procurement Forum at the CILT
