    [Brief_CV] => Grainne is an experienced Architect with 30 years’ experience across many sectors. A proven track record in assessing client requirements, designing to ensure requirements are met within budget and managing the delivery of a building’s completion and sign off.

Grainne is also an accredited expert witness in compliance with the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland Queens Bench Division (Commercial) Practice Direction 1 with training from the Academy of Experts. Extensive experience acting as Expert Witness in cases involving road traffic accidents; clinical negligence and accidents at work.

Grainne has extensive experience in the following:

Detailing the housing requirements of clients with special needs. This experience ranges from expert accommodation reports to the delivery of accommodation that meets their current and future needs.

Preparing Accommodation Reports to assist the court. We meet with the Client in their home to assess first-hand the scale and nature of their current and future housing needs, including the needs of family and carers; we assess the suitability of current accommodation to meet those needs and we advise on adaptations required to make the current home fully accessible.

 	<li>Producing a survey of the Client’s property for inclusion within the report. It will help demonstrate the challenges they may face in their home.</li>
 	<li>Taking photographs of the property to assist in the measured survey but also to illustrate points made in the report.</li>

Meeting with opposing experts and preparation of Joint Statements for the Courts consideration.

Preparing housing availability reports. We can assist in identifying alternative properties and suitable sites for new-build. We can also advise on how these properties can be adapted for future use by a disabled person, their family or care team.

Preparing estimates of cost for adaptations to existing or proposed properties, or for new build dwellings on identified sites.
