[Brief_CV] => Gavin is a highly experienced forensic accountant and expert witness with more than 25 years’ experience. He has been instructed in hundreds of cases and has given evidence under cross-examination on more than 40 occasions.
As well as matters before UK Courts and Tribunals, he has acted as expert in International Arbitration cases including under LCIA, ICC, BVI IAC, SCC, CAS and JAMS Arbitration Rules.
In addition to acting as expert witness (primarily as party expert but also as single joint expert) and expert adviser, he also regularly acts as expert determiner and undertakes fraud investigations.
Areas of work include contractual, shareholder and partnership disputes, SPA disputes, professional negligence claims, fraud matters (both civil and criminal), business interruption claims, matrimonial matters and Compulsory Purchase Orders.
A substantial proportion of Gavin’s work involves the valuation of businesses and shareholdings (in both contentious and non-contentious settings) together with the quantification of financial loss.
