[Brief_CV] => I am an Emeritus Consultant Paediatric Urologist Leeds Teaching Hospitals and Professor of Paediatric Surgery University of Leeds. I am fully registered with the GMC with a Licence to Practise and hold a contract at Professorial level with the University of Leeds. I continue to contribute to postgraduate teaching and attend international conferences and meetings. In addition to extensive clinical experience I have published textbooks, chapters and research articles on various aspects of Paediatric Urology. I am currently co editing a new edition of the international multi author textbook "Essentials of Paediatric Urology". My specialist medico legal practice covers a wide range of disorders of the urogenital systems in children and young people. I am a full member of the Academy of Experts and have 30 years experience of medicolegal practice.

[Brief_CV2] => I qualified at the University of Cambridge and Guys Hospital Medical School and completed my specialist training at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street before taking up a consultant post in Paediatric Surgery in Leeds in 1982. For much of my consultant career my clinical practice was devoted to Paediatric Urology.
I was awarded an Honorary Professorial Chair by the University of Leeds in 2003 and Visiting Professorship at the University of York from 2004 - 2010. Academic recognition also includes a Hunterian Professorship of the Royal College of Surgeons and Visiting Professorships in the United States and Europe. I have edited 3 textbooks and published 150 scientific articles and chapters. Although I retired from clinical practice in 2011 I remain actively engaged in editing, writing, postgraduate teaching and clinical research. I have 25 years experience in the medico legal field and my recent retirement from clinical work has enabled me to devote more time to medico legal practice.
