As a former Technical Principal he led and managed large complex projects across a wide range of sectors and building types of value up to £1.2billion.
David has acted as an expert in international disputes on matters of; design process, detailing, coordination and change control; health and safety; CDM and Building Regulations compliance. He has undertaken site investigations into external cladding on more than 50 high-rise buildings.
He has been involved in a wide range of Dispute Resolution stages and forms of Expert appointment. David applies a forensic approach to the analysis of building defects; conducting peer reviews and coordinating with Counsel to evaluate claims and disputes; providing initial advice and CPR 35 reports on diverse issues and in pre-trial preparation, working with clients, instructing solicitors and Counsel.
