    [Brief_CV] => David Aron is the Managing Director of Petroleum Development Consultants a consulting company based in London. He is a chartered chemical engineer and a petroleum engineer. He has nearly forty years of experience in the oil industry.

David Aron has been acting as an expert witness for oil and gas since 1979. He has extensive experience including acting as an expert witness at the UK High Court as well as ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitrations. He has carried out expert reports for most of the large international firms including Freshfields, Clifford Chance, Herbert Smith, Watson Farley Williams, Akin Gump, Wilmer Hale, Norton Rose Fulbright, Dentons, Hogan Lovells, Edwards Wildman Palmer, Clyde, Dechert and Gide Loyrette Nouel.

He has acted as an expert on a number of oil and gas field disputes in Kazakhstan, Croatia, Hungary, Trinidad & Tobago, Kurdistan, UK onshore and offshore, Albania, China, Sudan and Brunei. He has been involved as an expert on oil and gas construction disputes in Malaysia, Vietnam, Poland and Algeria. He has experience of commercial downstream disputes including metal working fluids. He as acted as an expert in a number of downstream gas disputes including the location of high pressure pipelines and carbon monoxide poisoning.

He has extensive experience of appearing as an expert witness at court and arbitrations. He has also been interviewed a number of times on television and radio.

He has the support of a number of staff who typically will have qualifications as chemical engineers or petroleum engineers.
