[Brief_CV] => I have worked as a consultant in Emergency Medicine for eight years. I trained in London, Australia and Leicester. In my current post I am Clinical Lead for one of the busiest departments in the UK.

I am more than half way through an LLM in Law as applied to Medical Practice (awarded by Cardiff University Law School) which has modules dealing with consent, negligence and duty of care and the Mental Health act. This coupled with my extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and Instructor status for the three main life support courses means that I am well placed to provide expert opinion in the field of Emergency Medicine.

I have been used by the IPCC and CPS complex cases units for manslaughter cases and this has involved review of reports of other experts, listening to interviews of witnesses and interpreting scientific data.
