Building including residential, conversions, industrial, office, retail, healthcare, education, restoration of listed buildings and facades, hotels, and leisure facilities.

He is regularly appointed as Adjudicator, Arbitrator, Accredited Expert Witness (specialising in quantum and time) and Expert Determiner. He is also an accredited Mediator (LSM).

He routinely prepares claims, counter claims, reviews contractual terms, as expert in quantum, time and abatement issues.

He has prepared Expert Reports on quantum and time in relation to buildings; infrastructure; power & Process; restitution costs for cleanup of contaminated land; loss of earnings; fire damage; cost and quality of workmanship in criminal (Fraud) proceedings.

He has acquired experience in a variety of Contract Forms (including JCT, ICE, Highways, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, and numerous bespoke forms) and Methods of Measurement (SMM, CESMM, Highways and bespoke).

    [Brief_CV2] => I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years post-graduate experience in building and civil engineering. I have worked extensively in the following areas: post-contract commercial and project management; contract administration; procurement; evaluation of variations; settlement of final accounts; preparation and settlement of both monetary and time related claims; delay analysis & extensions of time and the quantification of defective work.  During my career I have represented Employers, Consultants, Main Contractors and Sub-contractors.
 
 My experience includes residential property; refurbishment of both interiors and Grade II listed facades; schools and colleges; mine infrastructure; superstores; sports & leisure facilities including a leisure pool; roads bridges and tunnels in connection with both highways and the London Underground, station upgrade and refurbishment projects, pharmaceuticals, Waste to Energy and nuclear power plants under a wide range of Contract forms. 
 
 My focus in recent years has been on all aspects of dispute resolution, but primarily quantum and in particular loss and expense as well as time analysis, the preparation of expert reports, cost planning, tendering, claims and final accounts.
 
 I have provided quantum analysis support on several national and international projects under both CIMAR and ICC Arbitration Rules, including a prestigious residential development in London, a  combined Cycle Power Plant in Spain, a process plant in Jordan and the Taiwan High Speed Rail Link. More recently, I have prepared several reports as Expert or Single Joint Expert including contaminated land, defects, loss of earnings and quantum for loss and expense, engineering hours and quantum meruit.
 
  I am a trained Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Expert Determiner. I have acted as Expert Assessor (Quantum) in adjudication and I have been appointed as Adjudicator in several shall disputes.
