Chris McArdle has over 30 years experience in the electronics industry, originally as a designer of IT and Communications products, and of integrated circuits for a range of blue-chip companies including Honeywell and McDonnell Douglas. He then spent 9 years as Director of Digital Engineering at Plextex, one of the UKs premier electronic design consultancies, prior to setting up Innotec Ltd and becoming its Managing Director.

During his career he has been responsible for the design and introduction to volume manufacture of a wide range of electronic, microelectronic and software products at factories throughout the world. He has experience of forming and directing international joint-venture companies involved in high-volume telecommunications and consumer products.

Companies and organisations that he has worked with include Hewlett Packard, NTT, Olivetti, LSI Logic, Rockwell, Fujitsu, Nortel, DERA, QinetiQ, Micron, Vibtech, Patientline, LG, BICC, Tracker, APEBA, BT, Maxon, Hynix, Marconi, ST Microelectronics, BBC and government organisations such as The Home Office, The Department of Trade and Industry, The European Commission, British Embassies throughout the Far East, The University of Kent, Invest. UK, Invest Northern Ireland and a wide range of legal and financial organisations.

Chris has experience as a UK Government Advisor on Microelectronics, and is a member of the funding assessment panel of the European Commission.

He has performed due-diligence investigations, strategic appraisals, corporate restructuring assignments and expert-witness assignments on behalf of a wide range of companies in the electronics, software, consumer product, microelectronics, and electronic component industries, and on behalf of a range of venture capital companies and investment institutions.

His courtroom experience ranges from Civil and Criminal cases in the UK and USA to extensive experience in International Arbitrations. He has covered subject matter ranging from Intellectual Property disputes, through sinking ships and exploding power stations to the analysis of IED control circuits and software in anti-terrorist cases. He has extensive experience of forensic engineering in subject matter including counterfeit electronics, design copying, patent infringement, integrated circuit design, software copying and incident investigation.

Chris is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology, and a member of the IET President\'s List. He holds a PhD in Microelectronics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is also a qualified Arbitrator and Mediator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Arbitrators.
