[Brief_CV] => Following graduation, I initially spent three years working for a civil engineering contractor. I then opted for a consultancy career and spent the next nine years working as a design engineer on a wide variety of building projects.
During the latter part of this time I gained a passion for working with existing buildings and developed my skills for cladding and building defect work. In 1993 I joined Quest Technical Services and spent nearly ten years providing a specialist technical defect and investigation service to building owner, asset management and lawyer clients.
Given my close links with building surveying, in 2002 I joined Watts & Partners to establish and lead a technical division. Thereafter in 2005 I joined CNP Ltd in a similar role as Technical Director with total responsibility for the technical aspects of building surveying activities and specialist Technical Group services. Since 2009 I now work for myself as Tee Technical providing specialist cladding and curtain walling consultancy services.
