Adam has specialised in forensic accounting matters since 1996. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995. He is a member of the Academy of Experts and a mediator.
Adam specialises in commercial litigation matters including sale and purchase agreement disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, valuations of businesses, expert determinations, professional negligence, consequential losses, loss of profits and other commercial disputes.
Adam has also given expert evidence on a number of occasions including twice in the same matter relating to the value of a business in the hospitality industry. He also gave evidence in a matter involving the application of accounting standards in respect of leasing matters.

[Mediator_CV] => Until 1996 I was employed by a West Yorkshire chartered accountancy practice. I began my accountancy training with this firm and became an audit senior following my qualification. During this time I gained experience of auditing, accountancy and taxation and was responsible for the day to day running of audits of small to medium sized companies. I also undertook consultancy work for businesses wishing to increase production and profitability. From 1996 the majority of my time has been assisting lawyers in legal cases.
I have written expert accountancy reports in personal injury, business interruption, professional negligence, matrimonial, insolvency, extortionate credit and criminal matters.
I have also undertaken expert determination work predominately in director, shareholder and partnership disputes and am listed as such an expert with the Institute of Chartered Accountant's President's Appointment Scheme.

I regularly lecture to solicitors and accountants on business valuation matters and the interpretation of accounts and have written articles for legal and financial publications.
