At the moment business development is tricky because we can’t get out to see anyone or host/attend events. However, that doesn’t mean business development can be parked. In fact, maintaining our profile and our relationships is more important than ever given the crucial part both will play in getting our practices back to where they were pre-lockdown. In this Member Meeting, Bernard Savage of Size 10½ Boots will discuss how you can do BD from home by getting more out of our phones, our content and our social media before answering your questions.
Bernard Savage
Bernard Savage’s career is a game of two halves and then Tenandahalf.
In the first half he worked in blue chip companies Procter & Gamble and Shell. The second half led to Tenandahalf when after an in house role at Eversheds Bernard saw an opportunity to help ’smarter professional service firms. These firms understand that just having good technical practitioners isn’t enough to be commercially successful in a changing and increasingly demanding business environment.
Tenandahalf is a specialist Business Development agency helping law firms, barrister chambers’, patent and trade mark attorneys, architects and accountants and business advisers grow.
Tenandahalf has worked with more than 200 practices of all sizes and profiles throughout the UK and internationally since founding in 2005.
Tenandahalf help businesses of all sizes to improve the ‘top and bottom line’ through strategic and tactical support, group training, 1on1 coaching, client research and creating content. This is delivered through a combination of face to face and video conferencing and distance learning.
Bernard is also an avid follower of Mansfield Town Football Club and listens to Trojan music when he is travelling for business or pleasure. Bernard also subscribes to the view that ‘clothes maketh the man’ and has a large collection of pocket squares ensuring that he walks the talk!
