Case Law and Empirical Studies have found that expert witnesses can show accidental or intended bias in favour of the Party that retained them, even when presented with conflicting evidence.

Tribunals can be concerned, and the pursuit of objectivity is fundamental for Lawyers, Parties and Tribunals.

Objectivity is a crucial issue in maintaining the integrity of expert evidence.

This Member Meeting presented by Dr Hamish Lal will examine recent Cases and Studies and thus provide practical guidance to Experts.

Members are encouraged to stay and continue the discussion after the meeting over a glass of wine in the Gray’s Inn Bar .
