His Honour Judge David Grant, is the Principal Judge of the Technology & Construction Court in Birmingham and will be giving members and guests the opportunity to learn about current trends in Expert Evidence and in particular hot-tubbing as perceived from the bench.

Judge Grant was appointed to TCC in October 2008 having previously been at 3 Paper Buildings. In 2016 he was a member of the Civil Justice Council’s Civil Litigation Review Working Group which produced the report “Concurrent Expert Evidence and Hot-Tubbing in English Litigation since the Jackson Reforms.”

Judge Grant has extensive experience of experts including hot-tubbing.
